I’m working with a client at the moment who is sending me to Glasgow for COP26. Frankly it’s been a fascinating insight into the charity sector and a really enjoyable contract but not perhaps for the reasons expected.
One thing that is often overlooked when businesses hire freelance is the [very] wide range of organisations they have worked for. It’s usually much higher than the average permie.
If you are hiring freelance consultants I recommend you get a form filled in - anonymously maybe - the feedback will not be the same as your current staff especially if you have brought in talent from outside your industry bubble.
